Portland Pirate Festival 20-21 September

This is your one month warning about the Portland Pirate Festival. I've never been but it looks like a good time. At a minimum you have to appreciate all the effort people put into getting 'geared up' for their pirate weekend.

 

I'm kind of intrigued so there's a chance I may even make it down from Seattle. Have you been? Should I make the big trip?

This will be our third year going to the Portland Pirate Festival, IT IS A BLAST!!

We live in rural east Pierce Co. so we know that it worth the trip down to portland.  The Seafair Pirates go down there as I know one of them and clued them into it.
