Dawn and I made an offer on a boat today.

That is just step one, for those who aren't familiar with it the process go like this:
- Courtesy visit. You get to go look at the boat crawl around it but not sail or motor or leave the dock. - DONE
- Offer to Purchase by Buyer (Dawn and I) - DONE
- Offer Acceptance by Seller - Due by Monday
- Sea Trial - This is where you get to take her out for a spin, try all the systems outs, etc.
- Survey - You have a professional survey inspect the boat and all systems. This includes hauling the boat and inspecting the hull, prop, etc.
- Go/No-Go Decision based on Sea Trial and Survey
- Closing
If all goes well we would close in May, but the boat has to pass a bunch of hurdles and the seller's still have to accept our offer as well.
