Here's this weeks update and more notable is the completion of the dock replacement phase which I'm sure has come none too soon for all of you mooring and living down at Shilshole.
Week of February 25, 2008
The Dock Construction Project Is Completed!
- The last dock (Q-dock) was completed last week. This concludes construction of 22 new docks at Shilshole Bay Marina. There remain a number of "punch-list" items on several docks. The contractor will complete these items by the end of March.
- The contractor's lay down area in the parking lot just east of the P & Q docks will be cleared out this week.
- The contractor's trailers in south parking lot will be removed and parking restored by the end of March.
- Electronic gate access control work will be completed the 1st of March. Staff will begin issuing new key fobs in April.
- Bike storage lockers and bike racks have been installed throughout the marina. There is only one bike locker that remains to be rented. Contact the Marina Office if you would like to store your bike out of the weather this winter.
- Comcast has pulled all of the cable on O, P & Q docks. A cable receptacle at each power still needs to be installed. Gates will be posted when the work has been completed.
- 2008 Parking Permits are now available in the Marina Office.
