17 Feb - Fishermen's Terminal Construction Update

Things seem to be clicking along down at Fisherman's Terminal.

  • The Contractor has turned over new Dock 6 to the Port of Seattle. Grout was placed for the new knuckle-boom crane, allowing the crane to be set and tested. Testing is scheduled to take place later in the week by a certified independent crane inspection company.
  • Pile driving is complete for new Dock 5 fixed pier. The welding crew continues to weld structural rebar into the steel piles. A crew is installing false work & formwork for the new pile caps.
  • Old Dock 6 demolition is scheduled to continue this week.
