All the media (CW, LatsNAtts, etc.) have had had recent posts about Tania Aebi's new "blog" on BoatUS.com, but I'm here to disappoint you with news that while there is indeed a web page on BoatUS.com where updates are being posted it ain't no blog. Principally there is no feed to which to subscribe. That's the WHOLE point of a blog... you can subscribe to it and I don't need to go an check to see if something new was posted. OK, geek rant off. :-)
Tania (Who is Tania) is planning to sail for 5 months with here 13 and 16 year old sons. The updates thus far have covered the dream (and the negotiations with her ex-husband), finding and prepping the boat and the next set will be from the boat.
Dawn and I have no intention of having kids so I am not so interested in the background story of sailing with her sons and negotiating with here ex, but I am a little jealous of her sons. I wish my mom had taken me sailing for 5 months. I am still in the building the dream and researching phase so I I really enjoy the stories about finding the boat, figuring out which one have major problems and just the whole boat buying process which we plan to start this year.
The site is still getting started but there are a couple of good updates and I'm looking forward to checking it out again if I can ever remember to do so. (Seriously folks, make this a real blog!)
