Folds to just a few inches in moments

I live close enough to a boat launch that I keep thinking abouta small and light sailing dinghy which I can store in my condo parking spot andstill fit in my scooters. To that end, I am in love with the idea of thislittle boat. Basically it’s a PVC canvas bottomed boat with woodengunwale’s bow and stern. You buy the plans as a PDF for about $60 US. Ihave a bathroom that still needs remodeling so I’m not taking on thisproject yet but I am very very tempted!

They have video on their site of the sailing rig setup and ofit running around under oar and outboard power. In all of the videos the wateris a sheet of glass so I would guess it’s a pretty fair weather craft butto be honest I’m a fair weather dinghy sailor so who cares. ;-)

If you know anyone who has one of these let me get them incontact with me I’d love to hear directly from an owner and if they’relocal I’d love to see it here in Seattle. Here’s that link again: http://www.woodenwidget.com
