When my girlfriend and I started down the path towards cruising we decided to sell my house and move into a small condo which would allow us to save money and have something we could rent and come home to; assuming we want to come home. ;-)
This week we had three major accomplishments towards our goals.
- The painters finished
- The custom cabinet (the hardest and most expensive part of the remodel)
- Dawn started her US Sailiing classes
The first two are part of investing in this place and making it liveable. The last is definitely the second real step we've taken towards getting ready to go (selling the house being the first). Dawn has been enjoying her Basic Keelboat class and practicing her bowlines. ;-)
Slowly it all comes along like the long slow circle some of you are out there making right now.
