You probably remember the news stories about the called off Tsunami warning this past week after the 8.1 earthquake in Japan. Well it turns out it was called off a little too soon, as there was rapid water draw back and then a 6 foot surge which did cause significant dock damage in the town of Crescent City, CA.
Local paper, The Triplicate has a story putting the damage at around $700K.
